No. It is PU — vegan leather. It has the weight, grain and finish people want from leather without the animal product or the price, and unlike real leather it wipes clean. We are not going to call it something it is not.

Q: How do I clean it, and will it survive rain?
A damp cloth handles almost everything. PU is water-resistant, so a shower will not mark it the way untreated leather would. It is not waterproof — do not submerge it.
