Q: Is it see-through?
Semi-sheer, and worth knowing before you order. The ribbed knit is fine and light rather than opaque, so in the pale colours you will get some transparency in bright light. It is made to be worn at home, not to be squinted at in a shop window.
Q: How short are the shorts?
Brief. They sit high on the thigh with a lettuce edge that curls slightly rather than lying flat, so they read as a rounded shape rather than a straight-cut short. If you want coverage down the leg, this is not the piece.
Q: Will the butterflies sit exactly where they do in the photos?
Close, but not identical. The print runs continuously across the fabric, so which butterflies land on the bust, the waist and the shorts shifts slightly piece to piece. Same colours, same scale, a slightly different arrangement each time.
For best results, dry clean or hand wash with natural detergent. Machine wash on delicate. Lay flat to dry.
